Also, Uzi was a fan of listening to music right from his childhood. A musical journey that began with Mike Jones eventually evolved into Ying Yang Twins. His musical preference gradually took a sharper steer towards Meek Mill and Wiz Khalifa.
It was a classmate’s performance he watched in 10th grade that finally inspired him to begin rapping. He also formed a band with two of his friends which they named Steaktown. Soon after, Uzi dropped out of school and started working at a grocery store.
Owing to his temperament, he could not continue at the store for more than four days and wanted to let go. This is when his mother finally threw him out of the house. It was when he hit rock bottom at this stage of his life that he finally got the push to climb up again.

However, in 2020 there were talks about their break up doing the rounds. These were later smashed down by JT as rumours in multiple interviews. Uzi has been accused of cheating multiple times which he refused to accept vehemently.
However, the relationship finally succumbed in 2022 when JT hit a rough patch in life once again. The two continue to be on amicable terms owing to the long history they share. However, they are not romantically involved anymore as of today.
Losing Lil Peep

Given his celebrity status, this also caused the wrath of the public as the media covered this news aggressively. However, he was penalised for the charges in 2017 and received a sentence of community service.

Just four days after this incident, Byrd accused Uzi of punching her several times. She landed in the hospital after the attack. But, Uzi and his team refrained from facing or even standing up to these allegations.
Of course, Uzi was tried in court for felony assault with a firearm and misdemeanour injury. This led to punishments of three years in jail along with 52 weeks of counselling amongst many other things.
The public knows Uzi as a short-tempered and eccentric rapper. That’s why it is not a shock that the rapper has not even spared the owners of record label, GenerationNow and fought with them several times.
He insulted them publicly and accused them of delaying the release of his album Love is Rage 2. He took it to a whole other level when he advised fellow rappers against signing with the record label.
